Boilerplate
530A Model (530amodel.com) is a free, open-source calculator for 530A custodial retirement accounts — the "Trump Accounts" created by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act of 2025. Every figure is verified against primary sources (the statute, IRS guidance, CRS analysis), all calculation runs in the visitor's browser with no login and no personal data collected, and the projection engine is independently tested to the cent. It is an independent educational project, not affiliated with the U.S. government.
Fact sheet (verified as of )
- One-time $1,000 federal seed for U.S.-citizen children born 2025-01-01 through 2028-12-31 (SSN required).
- Contribution cap: $5,000 per child per year from all sources combined; employers up to $2,500/yr within the cap.
- Contributions permitted since July 4, 2026; none were allowed earlier.
- No withdrawals before 18; Traditional-IRA treatment afterward.
